I wrote this song to make a statement. When I was a kid I didn’t feel understood with my afro and it was and still is a journey to accept my natural hair and myself in every state. Now I embrace my crown and am thankful for the power I get through it! It’s time to use this strength to empower each other cause I dream of a society in which we all can be individuals and proud of who we are and what we’ve got! I use my heart soul and voice to empower as much as I can 👑
