This is the first single of a new collaborative project between two Zurich-based bands, Candytoe and Trois Imaginaires.
The 7 musicians consider themselves equally as composers and game designers. They work with methods often used for game development and use this process as a starting point for their music: basically like in a game, rules must first be defined. In the creative handling of these structures, an immersive world gradually emerges that mirrors pop culture as a digital and social phenomenon, such as a colorful, eccentric and highly stimulating space. The double line-up of Candy Imaginaire offers the chance to explore undiscovered sounds between analog and digital, providing a live experience between the over-ecstatic J-pop concert and the wild free jazz session.
