Ajay Mathur, the internationally acclaimed and award-winning Swiss singer-songwriter, releases his laid-back chill-out summer single ‚Don't Want the Phone to Ring‘ from his latest multi-award winning* album "Talking Loud" in a playful "Radio Edit" version.
He is "still producing upbeat pop songs that cause your feet to tap of their own accord. It’s just gonna happen so go with it." is what Kath Galasso from Onstage Magazine wrote about Ajay Mathur's songwriting. This description fits his new single perfectly. 'Don't Want the Phone to Ring' is a laid-back, chill-out summer song that puts out the proverbial Do Not Disturb sign and encourages carving out some much-appreciated down time. The song playfully puts space between what we expect and what really happens. It celebrates everyone's right to remain undisturbed, which is especially what we all want during the lazy days of summer. This song also motivates to occasionally check out of the day to day hectic and drift off a million miles away.
'Don't Want the Phone to Ring' follows a string of successful and award-winning singles from Ajay's latest album "Talking Loud": Last single ‘Common Mistake’ topped the European Indie Music Network Charts and won the Rock/Alternative category of New York's The Artists Forum International Music Competition 2022, ‘Anytime At All (Aftermath of Silence)’ won the Best Pop-Rock Song category at the Akademia Music Awards in Los Angeles. ‘Deeper Than Your Skin’, winner of the Venice Fullshot Film Festival, ‘Real’, semi-finalist of the 2021 UK Songwriting Contest, winner of the Roma Short Film Festival and topped the World Indie Music Top100 Chart, and ‘Stop The Shame’, winner of the 2021 New York The Artists Forum International Music Competition in the Indie / Singer-Songwriter category.
