Annakin’s new single „Silenceland“ is about the loss of contact between two people who were once close. It is also about being stuck in old patterns and the difficulty of breaking free from them. Annakin and her producer Ed Harcourt chose an electronic interpretation for this song. The melodic synthesizers complement the organic elements and as always, the ethereal voice of the Swiss artist sits on top of the music and transports the listener to a different sphere.
„Silenceland“ is the first single edit of Annakin’s forthcoming album „Cocoon“, produced in Ed Harcourt’s Wolf Cabin in Oxfordshire and at La Frette Studios in Paris.

For the shooting of the video Annakin and Christian Ammann travelled to an outerearthly place - Silenceland. The spectacular images of the photographer and director add another meaning to Annakin’s musical composition. The mythical character Annakin plays in the video is both strong and fragile. Together with the music and the wind, she takes you on a journey to this powerful place, to her Silenceland.
