After the emergence of last year's diverse 12 track various artist album, Codonopsis, we are stoked to be back with our second VA release - Rumex. What awaits you this time are another 14 uncompromising tracks from artists based within and beyond Swiss ground - a project that has taken shape quite literally from all over the globe in more ways than one. Musically, it spans wide from ambient to experimental, noise, electro, breaks and techno - inviting you into an introspective, eerie kind of realm without losing the groove that pushes you right back out again. On a personal and collective level, it's been an intense year with a heavy dose of pain and suffering, Rumex leans into this melancholia, journeying between the light and the dark in what can only be explained as a sonic catharsis.

We cannot express in words how happy we are to have made a VA release possible again; to have met inspiring artists and friends from different countries, cultural sectors and to have the honour of working with so many talented individuals. A driving force behind intersub is to showcase artists that hover under the radar, (some more, some less) and we are endlessly grateful to those who collaborated with us on this album: for the music, the mastering, the animated visuals, the artwork and all the logistics, liaising, and curation.
