Xaman Bewa means "deep icaro" in Shipibo. This chant, near trance, is addressed "to women and men" and comes "from the bottom of the heart with happy thoughts, hearts, and minds." Structured in two parts, the icaro peaks as the music, driven by a bold bass, becomes simpler and more danceable.
