“Weary Lovers” is an arriving point after a love story made of ups and downs.
In the song we are faced with the discovery of a romantic weariness which overcomes the love that was felt: the continuous fight in hopes of finding a compromise is a tiring condition.
The consciousness of a lonely blooming and a search for self-love are both present.In the special I chose to insert an extract of a John Keats’s poem (1795-1821) which discusses the dialectic between the definition of traditional love and the author’s definition.
