  „Schon lange wollte ich einen Weihnachtssong herausbringen“, erzählt er. „Vor einem Jahr, beim ersten Schneefall, hatte ich plötzlich eine Melodie im Ohr und das Bild einer Schneeflocke, die auf ein Hausdach schwebt, vor meinen Augen. Die Idee lag einige Monate in der Schublade, bis mir eines Tages die Vision eines Films dazu kam – und der Song musste fertig werden.“
  
  It Feels Like Christmas ist feinfühlig gesungen, romantisch arrangiert und könnte durchaus als inoffizielle Fortsetzung von Michael Bublés Christmas Album verstanden werden. Von Sängern wie Michael Bublé, Robbie Williams, John Mayer oder James Morrison lässt sich Schlanke denn auch gerne inspirieren. Mit der Veröffentlichung seines Weihnachtssong verrät Moritz Schlanke auch gleich, dass - gut gehütet - ein fast fertiges Album von ihm auf die Veröffentlichung wartet. Das genaue Release-Datum gibt er noch nicht bekannt, nur soviel: “Es geht nicht mehr so lange, wie es schon gegangen ist”, und schmunzelt verschmitzt.

  Den liebevoll erzählten Videoclip zu seinem neuen Weihnachtslied hat Moritz Schlanke mit Hilfe diverser KI-Tools komplett selbst erschaffen. „Ich habe über 80 Stunden investiert und mit bis zu zehn verschiedenen Programmen gearbeitet, um die Geschichte meines Songs zum Leben zu erwecken“, berichtet er.

  Das Ergebnis ist ein emotionaler Animationsfilm, der an die Magie eines Pixar-Films erinnert und die Botschaft des Songs auf berührende Weise transportiert. Mit dieser Kombination aus Musik und Video hat der Schweizer Musiker ein stimmungsvolles Kunstwerk geschaffen, das sich perfekt in die festliche Jahreszeit einfügt.

  The lovingly narrated video clip for his new Christmas song was completely self-created by Moritz Schlanke with the help of various AI tools. "I invested over 80 hours and worked with up to ten different programs to bring the story of my song to life," he reports.

  The result is an emotional animated film, reminiscent of the magic of a Pixar movie, which beautifully conveys the message of the song. With this combination of music and video, the Swiss musician has created a delightful piece of art that fits perfectly with the festive season.
