"Broken Skies” was created between June and October 2024 and focuses on the overwhelming situation of the wars being waged around the world, the hopelessness and the fading of hope. As a voice and lyricist, however, “Subtley” succeeds in creating something hopeful from this gloomy subject matter. The music reflects the struggle between hope and despair, with a soft, defensive voice against a sea of synthesizer sounds and beats.
