’Voice of Change’ is from an interview with Nairobi-based artist Mr. Lu. The interview was conducted in Nairobi by Thomas Burkhalter in 2019 for the Timezones podcast Nairobi’s Next Generation Music Producers and Performing Artists Speak Out. The role of artists in our society, Lu argues, is to believe in the inner, creative voice and bring new art and thought into the world.
