Catherine takes us through the winding streets of a small
Tuscan town, where past and present intertwine. The
narrator witnesses a moment in which someone close to him
is struck by a memory- a vision of something she has never
experienced. A sudden shock that blurs the lines between
reality and inner perception, sending the protagonist into
deep self reflection.
Musically, Catherine unfolds as a driving, relentless PostPunk song - charged with feverish energy, a gripping
hookline, and an atmosphere steeped in mystical symbolism.
Melancholy and revelation go hand in hand, while the song,
in all its raw intensity, remains both conciliatory and resolute
in its forward momentum.
