The Manchine Diaries originate in Lugano (Switzerland), when electronic musician Enrico Bernasconi (Re-count, Yea/nay) meets pianist and composer Gioacchino Balistreri. Two very different musical universes meet and give rise to a unique sound where the rigor, at times violent, of electronic music blends with the authentic tone of a classic-minimalistic piano. It's the machine that meets the man; it's the man that becomes the machine.Manchine Diaries' music emanates a mysterious energy, which is able to drag the listener in a new dimension, without boundaries and with no certainties, where everything is still possible.
