Wo ist Gott und wo ist der Himmel, wo ist Jesus und wo seine Jünger? Wo sind all die schönen Engel? Und ich liege immer noch hier unter der Erde, unter den Bäumen! Das Bild für dieses Lied entstand beim Betrachten eines alten, verwaschenen und verwitterten Friedhofes mit Skulpturen von Heiligen und Engeln. Wir reflektieren, mit einer Prise Humor, über die Frage, was denn nach unserem Tod denn so wirklich mit uns passiert: Werden wir auf Ewigkeit unter den Grabsteinen und Erd- und Grasschichten im Friedhof gefangen bleiben, oder werden wir tatsächlich das Tor in den Himmel passieren – so wie in biblischen Bildern und Metaphern vorgezeichnet? Das Lied bleibt nichts anderes als eine kurze Reflektion über eine der wohl meist gestellten Fragen unserer Existenz; eine Frage die aber wohl unbeantwortet bleibt.
