Born in the late 50ties/early 60ties we were of the generation that by instinct, chance or conviction, enlightened by huge idols and their urge for freedom, justice and tolerance, stood up and fought the rules and the rulers. Huge achievements were the result at the time; at least that is what our generation believed. Well, now being comfortably sitting in our bourgeois homes and watching today’s news on TV or on the Internet, would we – the 60ties generation – rise again? Or, are we not contempt to comment quietly in front of the TV set, in our comfortable home, bedded in our comfortable life? ,,, and are we not flushing our Creed down the drain?

Geboren in den späten 50er/frühen 60er sind wir aus der Generation, welche aus Instinkt, aus Glück oder Überzeugung, letztlich auch beflügelt von gigantische Vorbildern, mitgewirkt haben für Freiheit, Gerechtigkeit und Toleranz zu kämpfen und dabei bereit waren, die Regeln und die Regulierer zu bekämpfen. Riesige Veränderungen waren damals die Folge, zumindest ist dies die Wahrnehmung unserer Generation. Jetzt aber, jetzt wo wir alle komfortabel in unseren bourgeois Wohnungen und Häuser sitzen und die modernen TV-Nachrichten oder Internet-News ansehen, würden wir noch einmal für unsere Ansichten einstehen und kämpfen? Oder, sind wir nicht schon zu bequem und begnügen uns damit, gemütlich vor dem TV sitzend zu kommentieren, in unserem gemütlichen Zuhause, eingebettet in unserem Komfort? …. und sind wir nicht dabei, alles an was wir einmal glaubten, in den Abfluss runter zu spülen?
