Air Afrique Records Presents: It’s A Worldwide Thing
Die Musik auf der dritten EP «It’s A Worldwide Thing» hat Clubcharakter. Sie klingt hochaktuell, akut, anstachelnd. Nach afrikanischer Clubmusik gemischt mit Deep House (wie in «Bal Shaka»), hyperschnellem kapverdischem Funana («On S’en Funana»), düster funkelndem Electro («Talanga» und «Yobe Dance») oder stampfendem Ghetto Techno («Body Expression»). Zu hören sind diesmal neben Kongo K auch die aus Ghana und Nigeria stammenden Switzboiz (Mr. Tymles und Papa Toffi) und der Kameruner Rapper TALE. In dieser Konstellation senden Sauter und seinen Mitstreitern unmittelbare Tanzbefehle aus, die stets Wärme und Melodie bewahren.
The 3rd LP in the Series „Air Afrique Records Presents“ is another journey through different styles of African Music. From Afro Dancehall, To Kuduro, Stepping to Funana, passing To Ghetto Techno and ending in Hard-House with Vocals the Tracks are club-oriented.
