I developed the chords of this song at the beach of Barcelona, the day after the Primavera sound festival. I tried to catch the pleasing atmosphere.

So this song is about waves, shallow waves and high waves. It’s also about a storm, rain and wind, and that no storm, no rock, nothing can actually stop a wave. Eventually, however, every wave will die at a beach.

About the name. The working title was just Beach. However I wanted to express the idea behind this song more deeply, and the only way to do so for an instrumental song is the title.
