Josie Tao is a Singer-Songwriter born and raised in Zurich (CH). Josie composes songs in English and German. «I guess a lot have same struggles and feelings which aren't outspoken yet. I always wrote my thoughts down to reflect, realize and take off a bit of weight. With my music I wanna scream it out loud - giving hope and understanding - You are never alone.» she says. Josie Tao’s vulnerable and tender voice conveys some brutal honesty and authenticity that gives the listener goosebumps. Next to her own songs she's always in new projects to dive in different genres and styles.

It took me more than 8 years now to finally release my first Song and I am super excited. After the decision to focus on my own music a couple of months ago it started to rollin’.

"Millimeter" tells a story of emotional struggles from a realist’s point of view. A simple and deeply meaningful song accompanied by authentic guitar sounds and a big pinch of honesty.
