All band members of the band Dimi Rogers are performing in the official video: Jeff (drums), Roli (lead guitar), Roger (bass) and Dimi (acoustic guitar & vocals), who wrote and composed the song.

‘It will get better’ was written for a friend who, sadly, died far too young. Following his friend’s death, Dimi travelled to the Atlantic coast of France to come to terms with his loss. This was also the place where he then wrote the song.
In the song, he looks back on the loss with a sense of melancholy, yet conveys a message of hope that things will get better again.
True to the spirit of: “Yes, it happened, but I’m still here and will always carry you in my heart…”
Dimi returned to Switzerland with a melody and lyrics, where he met up with cellist Andreas Kühnrich, who arranged and recorded the cello and guitar parts for the song.

This song is a reminder that life is not endless - There are times of sadness but there is also hope - Carry the past in your heart and look forward - it will get better!
