Description

"Would you be mine?" produced and composed by Silicon Valley based prodigy Jason Grey carries a very dark and mysterious vibe while the lyrics, written by Jiameé and Diamá herself, stand in contrast following a spiritual and enlightened path.

Together they manage to transport the message of the song as nothing is what it seems to be in this contemporary electro-pop hybrid. In "Would You Be Mine?", darkness and light compete in an electronic soundscape filled with gritty beats and uplifting synthesizers that illuminate the track. Jason Grey’s musical craftsmanship is simply impeccable as he delivers an almost architecturally structured track where every element is strategically placed for the buildup. Jiameé and Diamá play around with the lyrics to intentionally mislead the listeners leaving room for interpretation only to a certain point.

The song is about that one thing that keeps you focused, motivated or inspired - One’s source of hope or strength. “Would you be mine?” is Diamá’s testimony to what has always kept her believing."

"The music video was shot in one of Diamá’s favorite places in her hometown Dietikon (Switzerland). An almost magical park created by visionary artist Bruno Weber who died back in 2011. Growing up Diamá spent many hours in the park, a place where she could gather her thoughts, find peace and be inspired by the many sculptures. Sadly in October 2014 the closure of the park was proclaimed due to financial reasons. For Diamá this is an incomprehensible situation. In her eyes Bruno Weber created a monumental and relevant piece of Swiss-Art. This is also the reason why she decided to shoot the video to “Would you be mine?” in the same park.
