a few days back from now we lost each other
our paths led us into lands yet undiscovered
we acted like we could leave our love behind
in that tough battle of two proud minds

but now that the anger has settled down
i can't look at myself without a frown
this situation is awkward somehow unreal
to get days without sunrise was no good deal

it takes more courage than i've thought
even more than i had ever been tought
to step out of my invincible stronghold
wherein our dreams can't grow old

well i put on the best clothes i find
walking out the door leaving my ego behind
in my mind i arrange the best words i know
but most probably i'll gonna say'em without a flow

i'm on my way to get this solved
while my thougts do nothing but revolve
some seconds i'm sure some seconds i'm not
but i know in the end i'm gonna take my shot

it starts to rain, my best clothes get soaked
rain turns to snow and with ice i get cloaked
but i fight through all of this - make it to you
and when i'm there i'll tell you -
