A baby’s crying I open my eyes
Clouds over a leaden sky
It feels like I didn’t sleep
Drag myself to the world of livin’
And I feel down, I feel so down
Looking for the sparkle
That’ll trigger my day
TV’s on pouring its usual crap
But a new day begins

It’s a circle
I can’t get away from it
A vicious circle
Round and round my head

A faint glow tries
to break into that greyness
