Biography
Already as a child, Tamara Landolt started to sing and play cello. After high school, she began her classical vocal studies in Basle. But Tamara wasn’t meant to be an opera singer.
Back in her hometown Winterthur, she graduated in pop/rock singing and pedagogy at WIAM. After her musical degree, Tamara travelled a lot. It took some time until Tamara started song writing. All the impressions from the journeys, different moods and human encounters needed to be processed. All those contents are also the roots for the songs of Tamara.
In Spring 2018, the first song “I’ve got Standards” which was a collaboration with Irish songwriter Maurice Byrne, was added to the playlist of Radio Swiss Pop.
On 30/08/19, the first EP of Tamara “Edge of the World” has been released. With commitment, the songs were produced in the Hardstudios, Winterthur. From the rocky title song “Edge of the World”, the range varies to poppy songs and a soft ballad “Bittersweet Fall”. More musical ideas to come up in the near future….
