Budget Boozers is something like a street gang made up of members or ex-members of some of Bern Switzerland’s wildest rock'n'roll and punk acts (The Jackets, The Lovers, Dead Bunny). They have been up to mischief since 2005 and are finally back after a long hiatus!
In September 2024, Beat-Man took them under his wing and his cult label Voodoo Rhythm Records released their new album ‘Love You, Hate You’. Here, moped bangers and crooner ballads wrestle with the double standards of an outdated rock ideal.
It's Bubblegum Glam, Garage Punk! It's the soundtrack to the ambivalent ecstasy of a sheltered small-town youth.
The album was mixed and mastered by Jim Diamond (The Sonics, White Stripes, Dirtbombs).
