The Coming – Music for a New World
The Coming is a music producer from Bern whose songs are straightforward and direct – no experiments, no distractions. What matters are the stories they carry. His music focuses on deeply human themes, often intimate, often raw, always close to life.
A recent single, “I’m Sorry Boss I’m Not Okay”, tells the story of a young man who sees disturbing images on television – perhaps from a war – and is shaken so deeply that he cannot go to work. His boss, of course, has no understanding. The song is not about depression, but about the fact that one can simply suffer from the world itself. This is what the coming does: he gives voice to emotions and experiences that many feel but rarely express.
At the heart of the coming’s work lies the conviction that spirituality and material reality are equal, two sides of the same existence. His songs are not escapism – they are windows into a new world, offering content and perspectives that may be unfamiliar, but necessary.
For the production, the coming sometimes uses artificial intelligence as a tool – for example, to replace the vocal line. Every song is first sung by him personally, then transformed by AI. This is not a trick, but a conscious artistic decision: the human voice remains the origin, yet the artist himself deliberately steps into the background, allowing the content and emotion of the song to stand in the foreground.
The essence of the coming is always the message: close, human, uncompromisingly honest. This is why the project is called The Coming: it stands for what is arriving, what is emerging, and what is waiting to be heard.
