It all started in the screed of an old wooden house between clotheslines, hanging laundry and the fresh smell of soap. After countless rehearsals into the night and several efforts to emulate our favourite musicians, we earned our spurs with cover versions when we performed in musty cellars, smoky bars and halfway accessible stages. Well, after the smell of dreams came the bitter and honest taste of reality. But we didn't want to give up and in fact we were able to get closer to our dreams. Among the highlights are the live acts at the "Luzerner Altstadtfest" and the "News Bar" in Zurich (with Radio 24), as well as performances at "Huttu Rock" and "Knascht" in Lucerne. During this time we were able to write down and record many of our own musical ideas, sound fragments and lyrics.
THE EMIGRANTS are today: Andrè Zimmermann (guitar, keyboard), Riccardo Tondon (bass, drum programming) and Adriano Garofani (vocal, guitar).
With this formation we have set ourselves the goal of converting the entire smorgasbord of ideas, mixed with new musical inspirations, into independent and complete songs. Living out the whole passion for music and being able to draw from the full, gives us a lot of joy and satisfaction. Isn't it a great pleasure to see, hear, feel a work you have created and share it with people interested in music? With that, we wish everyone a lot of joy with our songs and look forward to any feedback.
