THE ITHAKA CHRONICLES are not a cover band, they are not a hard rock supergroup, they don´t play country songs and they don´t play the blues. THE ITHAKA CHRONICLES are an alternative rock three piece and their songs are dark, mesmerizing, dreamy, right into your heart and some of them even a potential radio hit.
TIC were formed 2008 in the eastern part of Switzerland where people generally live a decent life, become dentists and get boring old. TIC have chosen not to, except that they are on their best way to get old.
The trio consists of Bräuer, the lead singer, a full-bearded man of giant-size with the looks of an enigmatic priestess, Rechsteiner, the bassguitarist and lyricist, who tries to stay in tune with his backing vocals, and Sergio, the drummer, who plays with his unique style which is often compared to an angry old lawyer.Since 2010 TIC have released five albums. They recorded album I-IV in their basement, doing everything on their own. In 2018 TIC entered the studio with Jerome Longhi at lowcut productions to record their new album V.
