The Narentines are a transborderline female power trio based in Switzerland, driven by a Madchester vocalist and drummer, a tattooed Yugoslav guitarist / vocalist and a rocking alpine bassist. Musically, their compositions ally indie pop-rock and grunge songwriting often compared to L7, Siouxie and the Banshees, Sonic Youth, Warpaint or even Blondie.
The band takes inspiration from the day-to-day situations we all slide through, high hopes, ordinary disappointments, and little simple victories that draw a wry smile on our faces when no one's looking. But, they do it in their own way, and take no prisoners.
