The Pool My Skydrunk moves between intimate songwriting and cinematic scale. Songs that can exist as little more than a voice and a piano, yet unfold naturally into orchestral landscapes and ensemble performances.
The Pool My Skydrunk bridges rock, jazz, classical and folk influences through unconventional structures. A push and pull between musical gestures, carried by songs that remain thematically rooted in the emotional gravity of everyday life. This project deals with self-discovery, metamrphosis, love and personal upheaval through multi-layered compositions.
With its debut single, "Vanilla Sky", The Pool My Skydrunk offers a first glimpse into its artistic vision. Accompanied by a rhythmic piano theme, a warm layer of voices carries the audience into a surreal dreamscape - colourful, vital and unmistakably human. «Vanilla Sky» marks the beginning of a larger body of work and is part of the debut album: «Ides of March» - works about mystery, grief, bliss and, above all, the sacrifice of spring. It is set for release in spring 2027.
Conceived with an international outlook, this project welcomes collaborations across music, film, theatre, literature and installation art.
