Tibo Step, born Thibaut Stepcyznski, is an artist, composer, and producer from Geneva based in London. His mentor, Lionel Loueke, taught him the guitar during his studies at the Jazzcampus in Basel.
Active on the Swiss scene, Tibo has performed at notable events such as the Montreux Jazz Festival alongside Nnavy and at Cully Jazz with Anatole Muster, James Iwa, and Jo Mayasi. Tibo Step has become part of the RnB and Jazz scene in London, sharing the stage with artists like Jay Verma, Hugo Piper, and Jack Robson.
Passionate about production and in search of indie soul, RnB, and Jazz sounds, Tibo Step has drawn inspiration from various artists, including Mk.gee, Puma Blue, Cleo Sol, and Nick Hakim, to name a few.
His debut album, "Cross The River," was released in 2021, followed by his new EP in collaboration with Aron Talas, titled "Found You," released in November 2023. After a year rich in encounters and collaborations, Tibo Step will release his new album in March 2025.
