Tom Kelly's Music Factory is a Swiss band led by musician Tom Kelly. Their music spans a wide range of genres, including chillout, pop, funk, trance, and classic rock. The band was founded in 2000 on the Greek island of Lefkada. Kelly, the former frontman of the Tom Kelly Band, started the project. In 1980s, the Tom Kelly Band released a Album that did well on the charts and sold over 15'000 units.
However, it was with Tom Kelly's Music Factory that Kelly found his most prolific creative outlet. Their first album, an instrumental CD titled "Sciopadroxiu," was released in 2005. Since then, the band has released a steady stream of albums, including "Nights & Pearls", "Pictures of Nature", "Mysterious Times", "Between the Islands", "Memories and Shades" and "Some Kind of Journey". In August 2019, a 12-CD box set containing all of their albums to that date was released. Their most recent album, "Ancient Square," came out in 2024.
The band's music is known for its wide stylistic range and its catchy melodies. They have built a loyal following in Switzerland and around the world.
