Tom Sutter is a musician from Toggenburg (Switzerland) born in 1973.
He discovered his love for music and the guitar in the 80's and this fire of passion has been a pillar of his life since those days.
Musical influences can be found in rock, hard rock, funk rock, country, and bluegrass as well as bands like: Aerosmith, U2, Depeche Mode, Poison, Motley Crew, Rage against the Machine, Talk Talk, Queen, Genesis, Phil Collins, Extreme, Guns` n Roses, The Cure to name a few.
Throughout his musical career, Tom has collaborated with many musicians and played in various bands and ensembles. For over ten years, he has been writing and producing his own songs, which are a defining part of his life. As a songwriter and guitarist with backing vocals, he released his first CD in 2017 with his then-band, SWISSMAYD. Some of these songs made it onto the radio in Switzerland and abroad. This milestone in his life was crowned in the fall of 2018 with a European tour as the opening act for the Swedish rock bands "The Poodles" and "Degreed." However, in 2020, the band broke up due to insurmountable problems among the members.
These experiences left Tom with very deep wounds and scars. He subsequently began to forge his own path and released two songs, "Light for Others" and "Love for Real," in 2021. He played all the instruments (except the drums) and all the vocals himself. In the fall of 2022, his solo debut EP, "NEW CHILD," was released.
At the end of 2021, Tom was able to bring his old musician friend Jack Frei on board, whose exceptional dobro playing captivates audiences and listeners.
Later, the band was completed by Christian Dobler (drums/cajon) and, in autumn 2023, by Simon Stocker. Unfortunately, Simon left the band at the end of 2025 to pursue his own project but was replaced by Christof Rhyner.
In June 2026, the brand-new debut EP "Share Your Fire" will be released!
We finished it with Simon on bass, as a fitting conclusion to his outstanding work.
