With their latest album Cat Food, recorded in Ticino in October 2022, Top San stay true to their jangly, guitar-driven sound. While maintaining their raw and authentic DIY Vibe, the band has also ventured into new territories. After releasing a self-titled EP and the last album «Long Away» in Korean, Top San ventures into English for the first time. With Gentle Breeze, they create a new facet of their sound with a touch of Americana, influenced by artists like Kurt Vile and Courtney Barnett. Hot Potato, a laid-back anthem with generous use of auto-tune, combines the playful ease of lo-fi with a dash of pop experimentation. The 10-track album blends uptempo, fast-paced songs with atmospheric, almost cinematic instrumental pieces like Shifting.
