I’m Tr!p, born in 1990 in Müllheim, a small town in the south of Germany where I also grew up. That’s where I went to school, built my circle of friends, and experienced for the first time what music can do to a person. Especially during my teenage years, Müllheim was heavily shaped by hip-hop and street rap—and although the town is small, a surprising number of talented artists, some even known across Germany, came from there. This environment connected me to hip-hop early on and shaped me musically.
Together with a few homies, I started writing my own tracks, spending weekends in the studio, and recording small albums. Back then, music was our outlet, our space, our home. But at some point, our paths split, life happened, and music slipped into the background. Not because I didn’t care—more because I never pursued it seriously enough. Looking back, I could kick myself for that, because what I’m sharing with the world today is something I wish I had released ten years ago.
But instead of crying over missed opportunities, I’m grateful: I’m here now. I’m doing what I love. My music is the expression of my story, my art, my feelings. It grounds me, brings me back to myself. And this time, it won’t be pushed aside again.
I’m ready to put everything into the coming years and decades—into my songs, my growth, my path. This is just the beginning. Get ready. It’s on.
