Ty Freeman
Raw, soul-soaked Rock’n’Roll music for the misfits, the dreamers, and the survivors.
Forged in Liverpool’s vibrant underground music scene, Ty grew up in foster care and found escape in the greats such as Led Zeppelin, Queen, The Doors and other classic rock legends. He played his first shows as a teenager across Liverpool’s iconic venues such as The Cavern, The Jacaranda, Zanzibar before performing on the red light district of Reeperbahn to busking his way through Europe and eventually landing in Zurich where he now resides with his own band and studio.
Ty’s music is steeped in the grit of 60s/70s blues rock swagger — imagine Joe Cocker’s soul, Rory Gallagher’s fire and McCartney’s melody — delivered with the spirit of someone who’s lived every note.
Freeman’s debut single One Way Love (2025) is a blues-drenched reckoning: heartbreak, resilience and redemption wrapped in unapologetic Rock’n’Roll exorcism. Recorded with Ian Skelly and Paul Duffy of The Coral and produced by Chris Taylor (The Coral, Blossoms, The Lathums) it marks the first chapter of an uncompromising new voice in rock.
For Ty, music isn’t just performance — it’s survival. Every lyric, every riff carries the scars and triumphs of a life lived raw, restless and real.
