Ulysse Marshall was born in Montevideo, Uruguay, and moved to Europe with his family when he was eight. He is a published poet and songwriter. He has been influenced by a wide range of genres and artists, including Joy Division, Nick Cave, Depeche Mode and “the dream-infused ethereal beauty of the post-punk and electronic 1980s decade”, as he likes to put it. He played with Yvan Franel, founder of STEVANS.
