Rapper|Singer/Songwriter & Producer
Valentin-Samuel (born 29th April 1992) is a London based rapper, singer, songwriter & beat producer from Switzerland.
At only thirteen, Valentin-Samuel got fascinated and involved with Hip Hop and Rap for the first time. Intrigued by this rhythmic genre he started to write rap songs under the name ‘Young Sam (KVH)’ in his mother tongue (Swiss German). Throughout the following years, he released 5 mixtapes and 1 free album. Within these years, Valentin-Samuel was able to gain popularity in Switzerland and eventually managed to reach 2nd in the Swiss Charts with the Song ‘Time to Believe’ (featuring Patric Scott). In 2015 Valentin-Samuel decided to move from Switzerland to London to study Commercial Music at Westminster University. Out of his comfort zone he realised that there is much more to explore in terms of music and lyrics. He refined his style of music, started to write in both Swiss German and English and got into producing electronic beats. Step by step Valentin-Samuel has been developing his own style. With the combination of Rap, electronic synths and sung parts Valentin-Samuel creates unique songs with his very own touch.
He is about to release his first 5-song EP on 28th April 2017
