Valerù – Switalo between Heart, Fire, and Self-Love
Warm, passionate, and emotional, Valerù carries a hundred thoughts in her mind and transforms them into songs that reach straight to the heart. With a unique blend of Italo-Neo-Soul, R&B, and Pop, she creates her own sound: Switalo, a musical bridge between southern Italian fire and Swiss clarity.
Growing up between two worlds, Valerù knows what it feels like to be “too much”: too loud, too honest, too emotional. But from this, her artistic identity emerged. Her Italian lyrics speak of self-love, courage, and the power to embrace one’s feelings. They are intimate, soulful, and carried by strong basslines, driving drums, and atmospheric synths.
Her stage name comes from her Sicilian grandmother – a symbol of warmth, heritage, and identity.
After her first EP (2024), a sold-out mini-tour in spring 2025, and a nomination for “Ciuri Ciuri” as one of Switzerland’s best songs by the Lauter Kollektiv, Valerù presents her 2026 EP – a deeply personal work about love, loss, motherhood, and continuing to dream.
Valerù stands for everyone who doesn’t want to be less – but more themselves.
