With his “handmade big ears” and “catchy melodies,” Verseau Bellepierre (formerly Aquarius Rockwell) embodies a Romandy pop dandy. A singer-producer from Geneva, he stands out for his soft voice, delicate harmonies, and strong melodic sensibility. Active since 2019, he has been developing a personal project since 2025 that is both emotionally sensitive and instantly recognizable.
A member of the Scuba Club collective and an associated artist at L’Abri Genève, he first released two English-language albums under the name Aquarius Rockwell before reinventing himself in 2025 with a fully French-language project, Vers d’Oreille. The year 2025 was a prolific one for Verseau: he introduced his new big-eared visual identity, formed a band, and performed numerous concerts. He quickly surpassed 60,000 streams on Spotify and was featured on the editorial playlist Au calme, before entering rotation on Couleur 3, RTS, SRF, and several regional radio stations. In June 2025, he was selected by RTS’s RADAR program as an artist to watch, and was later spotted by the Les Francomanias festival, one of Switzerland’s key events for Francophone pop music.
Encouraged by this momentum, Verseau released his second album, Vermeil, in November 2025. The album received coverage from outlets including RTS and SRF and has already reached 50,000 streams across platforms. On this occasion, the track “Rouge” was added to Spotify’s New Music Friday Switzerland playlist by the platform’s curators.
Looking ahead to 2026, Verseau Bellepierre is preparing a collaborative project with other Swiss singers, a reissue of his first two projects, and a tour scheduled for 2026.
