When three local firemen meet a woodcutter and decide to have a walk together, sure you’ll soon have to face a helluvah fire. Putting several musical styles together, those four guys succeded in creating their own sonorous universe by mixing a close to metal and very present rythm section, some strong blues rock riffs and a powerful but melodic voice. From that kind of melting-pot come simple, strong and rough songs, which look like a massive Caterpillar truck guided by a velvet glove.
Founded in summer 2004 in Western Switzerland, VOSTOK grew up in 2006 with the arrival of its new drummer. Since then, they have already come on stage with famous bands like the french rockers of Astonvilla. By the end of 2007, they recorded their first demo and expect now to play their songs more than often. Rather a live band than anything else, VOSTOK's bandmembers don’t play naked, don’t like sheeps and mostly appreciate when the girls and guys in the audience moooove their body.
