YOYOYA is a Lausanne-based collective that includes Thats Xayachack (Brutus, Lity Pisc), Olivier Schubert (Brutus, Ventura), as well as a collaboration with producer Christian Pahud (Honey For Petzi, Larytta) and with artist Delphine Bovey, who is behind the band's first album's lyrics, visuals and video clips. Together, they present “Alpenglow” (to be released in May 2024), a collection of 9 magnificent and contemplative songs that draw as much from US indie-rock (Yo La Tengo, Blonde Redhead, Tortoise, Pullman, Jim O'Rourke) than from the Japanese scene (Cornelius, Toe, Lite) and seventies/eighties classics such as The Beatles, Serge Gainsbourg or Michael Jackson.
