Biography

Just to name a few bands which sound similar - there are none. ZANDER is unique.
Each member adds their own musical flavors to the mix in such an easy and creative way. Their influences are diverse - all kinds of guitar music, hip-hop, jazz, singer/songwriter, ..., and as a special shot a nice portion of Roma music. The result is an energetic mélange. Like the phases of this coffee drink, all the influences remain recognizable even after the band has merged them together.

Listen for yourself: With the release of their first album Basler Mélange in November 2024, ZANDER present the best of eight years of jamming together. Their love and enthusiasm for this musical mix is tangible when listening to the album, and will be even more so at their upcoming live performances.
