I'm a musician raised in Geneva and now based in Zurich, writing, recording, and self-producing songs from home since 2020. Zuludog is my solo indie music project.
I have no formal musical background aside from learning drums when I was a kid, and often couldn't tell you what chords I'm playing other than they sound right. After picking up the guitar at 18 and messing around with it in my bedroom for six years, the pandemic hit and I started making music with logic pro. From then on Zuludog became an obsession that pulled me out of my daily monotony.
Zuludog's sound sits in indie and alternative rock, drawing on influences like Sam Evian, Mac Demarco or Timber Timbre. My earlier songs leaned into the kind of love songs most young songwriters start with, drawn straight from my own life. Five years on, my writing is shifting toward storytelling and character studies inspired by Andy Shauf and the likes; small, specific stories brought to life through whatever instrumentation the song calls for, from blues rock urgency to jazz-inflected calm.
