Ace Ross is the solo project of Arthur Routaboul, drummer and producer based in Lausanne. Driven by a modern approach to jazz, the project blends electronic textures, contemporary grooves, and lively improvisation. The lineup features Arthur Donnot on saxophone, Natan Niddam on keyboards, Yann Maenner on bass, and Arthur Routaboul on drums, creating a sound universe that is both energetic and nuanced.
Ace Ross’ debut EP, released in June 2025, showcases several collaborations and a careful development of the group’s musical identity. In 2025, the project was awarded the ZKB Jazzpreis, highlighting its emerging presence on the contemporary jazz scene.
