🌶 WHO IS ALMA CILURZO?
Alma Cilurzo is a singer, songwriter and producer from Lucerne, born in the 80s. Her style can be described as "upbeat music in vintage dress". She loves to compose on the piano or with the ukulele in her hand luggage. From her nickname "Chili" the idea to be a "singer with pep" was born. During her business studies she developed a whole marketing strategy with "Chilies". Consequently, the idea of her own album "Chiliversum" was obvious.
The second single of her album will be released on August 19, 2022.
🌶 WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
"We don't need to feel lonely" is about friendship with oneself and the primal trust in the big plan. The rockin' original composition reminds us that no matter how lonely we feel right now, we are all always connected. Feeling truly at home in one place was never easy for the Swiss with Italian roots. Painful bullying experiences at school and the feeling of loneliness moved Alma to a radical love of music.
Under palm trees in Bali, on a journey to herself, the idea for the song was born.
🌶 WHAT MAKES THE DIFFERENCE?
Again, Alma came up with something special. As a finTech-savvy musician, she's taking a new approach to marketing: "The power of Web 3.0." "We don't need to feel lonely" can be bought not only via the usual platforms, but also in limited edition as a Non-fungible Token (NFT). This has some advantages for the musician: Without a digital distributor, all proceeds go directly to you. Because the NFT is stored on the blockchain, it also counts as proof of authorship of her music and lyrics. Power back to the people! She will be the first Swiss singer songwriter to perform her new pop-rock single live in front of an audience in a Metaverse live stream.
Thanks to Corona, Alma has founded her own social media live stream format #rawmusic and goes on air as a singer songwriter on the piano on Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and Tiktok - live from the living room to the whole world. In 2021 Alma received the Radio Chico Future Star Award for her song Hey You and won a professional video production.

The somewhat different good mood song that invites you to flip, bob and dance. Alma Cilurzo's latest creation musically tells a tantalizing cat-and-mouse story. The protagonist approaches her sweetheart who, like her, likes to step out of line. The two like-minded people find each other in the chorus and create their own crazy world together. "Together we're a freak show." The deep, prancing bari sax visualizes the two "freaks" joyfully swinging their dancing legs. Fuzzy, 20ties vocals end in narrative chanting: The song FREAK serves up a somewhat crazy, musical love story à point - straight to the ear.

Warm guitar sounds and a bit of bell-ringing feeling lead into the intense and strong chorus, combined with fine, lilting adlibs. HEY YOU - is the first single of the Lucerne singer with southern Italian roots. The song was written by Ricardo Sanz, produced at Power Play Studios in Maur / Zurich, mixed by Urs Wiesendanger. A little bit retro, a little bit pop and a lot of shine - this song reminds of Motown Soul in a contemporary "poppy" dress. The pop vocal style is rounded off with gospel-influenced backing vocals. The chorus interludes are reminiscent of 60's / 70's girl bands like Diana Ross and the Supremes. Typical of this style, saxophone and groovy piano accompany the listener throughout the song. The melody Hey You gives the song its activating name. The verse describes disappointments of a relationship, where one partner was not appreciated enough. With the chorus it becomes clear that the protagonist of the storyline is "finally" over the love pain. She courageously fights her way back to a happy life. Hey You - a motivating song that really energizes your day and maybe accompanies you as an earworm for a while.
