My new single "Bettersweet" (release Nov. 22) is a bittersweet love hymn and describes the beautiful but also difficult moments of a relationship. I wrote the song 17 years ago and after 4 released albums for children under the name "Ani and the Flowers", I finally finished😊 it. The album title "Seventeen Years" is also fitting, which shows a small part of my work as a singer-songwriter in the last 17 years in 10 songs. (Release Nov. 29)
Anja, the Freiburg singer of Ani Blue, has been on stage for almost 25 years. She was allowed to perform her new songs on June 22 at the Mühle Hunziken. She has also played at the Salzhaus as support for Sina, at the Frison, Bad Bon, Mahogany Hall, Parterre, Jazzfestival Freiburg and at the Openair Avenches. In November, she will christen her upcoming folk-pop album, which also has jazzy influences, at the legendary La Spirale in Freiburg.
She has already been played with her first 2 albums in RTS, Radio Suisse Pop, Radio Rabe and Radio Fribourg. In addition, she was in the BZ in the FN and in 20 minutes. For the single "Seventeen" there were reports in the Könizer Zeitung and in the FN. Some indie radios such as Redline Radio (Airplay MX3), Kanal K, Radio Rocher, Radio15.ch ("Fly" Single of the Week) have already included the last singles "Seventeen" and "Fly" in their program. "Better" is on air on Rete 3 and Rete 1 on mx3 on RNV and RedLine Radio and will be presented on Radio Freiburg. In addition to the rapidly growing indie community, which is touched by the profound songs of Ani Blue, it is also music that deserves to be heard in larger media or as 20 Min. wrote a few years ago: "Highly radio-friendly song pearls".
