Fabe Gryphin is one of those artists that simply doesn’t fit in a box and clearly doesn’t intend to.
The singer/rapper blends an indie and folktronica sound to an alternative hip hop breed, mixing influences ranging from Kendrick Lamar, Kanye West and Frank Ocean to Bon Iver, Chet Faker, James Blake or The National.
The songwriter’s world is shaped with the help of four jazz and electro rooted musicians with a taste for experimentation.
After a first album Street & Flower : Summer X TIME in 2016, a win at Vernier Sur Rock tremplin in 2017, a partnership with Zurich based booking agency Just Because, a new EP PAIN released at Les Docks, Lausanne and a FCMA + prize in 2018, the band is on the rise and surely establishing itself as one of the Swiss act to keep an eye on.
