First Fish in Space – Sonic Journeys Between Worlds
First Fish in Space is a band from Bern that consistently transcends genres, conventions, and expectations. Their musical universe spans from electronic–experimental soundscapes to radio–ready pop hits, and on to atmospheric concept albums rich with narrative depth. Sometimes instrumental, sometimes sung, sometimes spoken – but always unmistakably their own.
The band uses artificial intelligence consciously and creatively: vocals are first recorded in the traditional way, then transformed using AI-generated voices. AI also plays a role in sound design – for example, turning vocal phrases into entirely new instrumental textures. Throughout the process, the creative control remains firmly in the band’s hands: every composition, every lyric, every idea originates from the musicians themselves.
