Francesco Antonio Stanchi (born in 1994) also known as “Frasta” is a musician, author and producer from Switzerland.
At the age of 12, thanks to the great fidget / electro-house wave, he became passionate about electronic music and started making music on his laptop.
Inspired by downtempo, electronic and bass music he decided to form an EDM duo with Alessandro Melchiori, a good friend and guitarist. In fact, in June 2017 “Housedauer” were born and released their own EP: Moksha.
At the end of 2018, Francesco started travelling in Australia. In this period of time, his style was very much influenced by different music genres as well as subcultures of the southern hemisphere.
Back in the canton of Tessin, he then decided to form another project, this time as a musician and producer: Frasta.
In 2019 his first official solo EP came to life: End = Beginning, an EP Francesco produced to brake with the past by taking advantage of his great experiences.
In 2020, Frasta released 3 new singles: Kanashibari, Dæmon with Swiss-Senegalese singer Omar Gueye and While Driving with Swiss-Italian pop singer Silvia Andrello. Frasta's new album "Dæemon" is announced to be released in 2021.
