Hotlanta

Biography

"Hotlanta" is a swiss project of Rocco Lombardi (Drums) and Matteo Bertini (Voice). They already play together in the Luca Princiotta Band and they decide to start working on something new for the swiss listener. They share the passion for the 60' - 70' south US music, so they start writing song in that vibe. With the help of Matteo Ballabio (Rhodes/Arranger) the songs start having their sound and the trio ask the musicians, and friends, of the zone (Lugano, Ticino, CH) to join them for record those tracks. the songs have many different shades just right because many musicians worked on it, with different instruments and touch. Roberto Pianca (Guitar),Mattia Mantello (Guitar), Nolan Quinn (Trumpet), Francesco Rezzonico (Bass), Matteo Ballabio (Rhodes), Frank Salis (Hammond), Matteo Bertini (Voice), Rocco Lombardi (Drums).
Since 2020 the band is stable with Bertini, Lombardi, Mantello, Rezzonico and Ballabio.
They release five more singles to complete the homonymous album "Hotlanta" and they perform several live shows, recorded and published in the live album "Captured Live".
