Biography
HYBISAE is back in 2022 with "Talking to me", a brand new and upbeat "don't bother me" anthem. The dance-pop duo is kicking off the new year with a fresh pop song, that tells the story of someone being *slightly* harassed by another person, who isn't letting go despite the clear message of rejection that they received. "Talking to me" is a catchy dance-pop song with subtle touches of R&B and future house.
Prinn Sae & Mae Sae, the two members of the group, have been working on their music for a few years now. After releasing a few tracks back in 2018 and 2019, they went on to create more music, which lead to the release of "Ready" and "Feelin' such a" in 2021. They're now releasing "Talking to me" as a single, which they also submitted to the M4music contest for the year 2022. Hybisae intends to release many songs this year, in order to have a bigger music catalogue so that they can perform full-length shows.
In terms of influence, the duo has many, ranging from 80's disco to 90's french house and very current pop music. Daft Punk, CHIC, Ian Kirkpatrick, Marc Ronson and Calvin Harris have particularly influenced Prinn, as he went on his journey through self-learning music production and creating his unique and inventive sound. Meanwhile, Mae has been influenced throughout his life by various artists as well. He draws inspiration from incredible singers/songwriters such as P!nk, Dua Lipa, Loleatta Holloway, Luther Vandross and Doja Cat among others.
Hybisae's music is therefore very pop-oriented, with a unique sound and rythms that make you wanna dance. Moreover, the duo is not only pushing boundaries in their music but also in their personnal life and appearance, not conforming to gender norms and being part of the LGBTQ+ community.
